Deb Vantriet

Deb brings over 20 years of experience in the health field, with a strong focus on supporting children and families. Since becoming a Speech-Language Pathologist in 2020, she has primarily worked with school-aged children, helping them build communication skills that support success at home, in school, and in their communities.

Deb is passionate about helping children achieve meaningful, functional goals in a way that feels engaging and supportive. She is known for her warm, approachable style and her ability to build strong connections with children and their families. Deb values collaboration and works closely with parents, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to ensure each child is supported across all environments. As a parent herself, she understands the realities of busy family life and strives to make therapy practical and accessible.

Deb loves spending time outdoors and brings this passion into her work whenever possible. Whether it’s through nature-based activities or simply getting outside, she enjoys creating therapy experiences that are fun, motivating, and grounded in real-world environments where children can learn and grow.

About Deb

Deb graduated from Dalhousie University in 2020 with a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. Her background includes work in brain injury rehabilitation, service and rehabilitation coordination, and she now practices as a Speech-Language Pathologist, primarily working with school-aged children.
