Occupational Therapists support people of all ages - from children and youth, to adults and the elderly - with improving their mental health. Occupational Therapists work with individuals (and families) to address the mental health related barriers affecting participation in various life roles.
Occupational Therapy interventions focus on improving function and independence through psychosocial, psychoeducational, cognitive, as well as sensory, mindfulness, and exercise based approaches.

Our therapists use a combination of approaches and concepts, including those found within the Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Behavioural Activation, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy frameworks.
